The Sforza Castle
The Sforza Castle has been in Milan since the fourteenth century, first as a fortress and then as the residence of illustrious figures.
It is one of Milan's main tourist attractions for those seeking relaxation, because behind it is the beautiful Parco Sempione, and also attracts those seeking some cultural stimulation at the various museums inside: the Museo d'Arte Antica (Museum of Ancient Art), with a section dedicated to Michelangelo's Pietà Rondanini, the Museo degli Strumenti Musicali (Musical Instrument Museum), the Museo Preistorico (Prehistory Museum) and the Museo Egizio (Egyptian Museum).
Two memorable experiences include a visit to the Castle's crenellated towers, from which you can admire the entire structure from above, particularly the Ducal Court, and an evening stroll to see the Castle lights.
