The Museo del Novecento

For lovers of twentieth-century art, Palazzo dell’Arengario is a required stop on your tour of Milan. The building is located steps from the Cathedral and from Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and holds one of the most important collections of Italian art of the last century with emphasis on the works of Marinetti, Boccioni, and Balla along with other exponents of Futurism, the avant-garde movement that had a great influence on culture and politics in the first half of the twentieth century. The exhibition also features other Italian and international artists, such as Picasso, Klee, Kandinsky, De Chirico, Modigliani, Fontana, and Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo.
